The German company XtremeAir Aircraft, manufacturer of the aerobatic planes Sbach 300 and Sbach 342, just received certification from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) for the two-seater model XA42, allowing them to enter in to the American plane industry with peace of mind and confidence.

FAA certification representative, Mr. M.K. Blalock, was very impressed with the plane.

"This will be the first Xtreme XA42 to be certified in the United States. I have to say that this is one of the most well-designed planes - very well thought out with some carefully-executed details. The work accomplished in building this plane is the best that I've seen out of all the planes I have certified. Congratulations for the excellent accomplishment...I am really so impressed, and I hope to see many more Xtreme planes."

With the certification of the X42 model in hand, it's only a matter of months before they receive the certification for the one-seater version, the XA41.

Today the Sbach planes are being selected by many pilots and aerobatic flight teams, and they are gaining ground against their primary German competitor, the manufacturer of the Extra planes. Pilots like Gerald Cooper, winner of the Freestyle competition gold medal the last EAC, or the Russian team, always very faithful to their planes, have opted for aircraft from the manufacturer of the Xtreme.
