World famous Hungarian aerobatic pilot Captain Tamás Nádas died on Friday, March 7th, in a plane crash during an airshow performance at Al Khor airfield, in northern Qatar.
As a well-known competitor, his best success was in 2012, when he won the gold medal of the 10th FAI World Advanced Aerobatic Championship during the Free Programme. He also won other numerous awards in aerobatic competitions in his natal country.
A father will try to beat a GWR of the most consecutive rolls for medical research

Kingsley Just, an Air traffic controller from Australia, will attempt a Guinness World Record in his Pitts. Specifically, he will need to perform more than 408 rolls consecutively without stopping. To make the challenge more exciting, he will also have to remain in sight of the observing judges at the airfield all the time, so he will have to turn in a holding pattern around the runway while rolling. Just is undertaking the feat to raise money for research into zinc absorption that it could help his son Kaelan.
Eric Vazielle, the new coach of the French Unlimited Team

Eric Vazeille, World Unlimited Champion 2000 in Muret (France), is taking over Claude Bessière, widely-known as "Coco", as the coach of the Unlimited French Team. The Fédération Française Aéronautique (FFA) announced this in a press release. They had decided to trust Vazeille to train the French pilots for the next FAI World Aerobatic Championship, which will be held in France in August 2015.
China flies high in the newly formed aerobatic team
Written by Ingrid FontSix South African Pilots have been selected to fly in the newly formed Red Bull Aerobatic Team of China. The team, started by Chinese entrepreneur Zhao Wei, is flying four brand new XtremeAir XA42 aerobatic aircrafts, showing the Red Bull China colors. The team will be performing at the international air show circuit, starting in Shenyang, the capital and largest city of the Liaoning Province in China and the place where they are currently based.
