What is evaluated and who does the evaluation during an aerobatic competition?

With the exception of the 4 free minutes in the Unlimited category, the precision of the maneuvers is what is primarily assessed.

A team of judges positioned strategically on the ground observes the precision of the figures and gives a score from 0 to 10. The pilot that has the fewest errors and is the most precise will be the winner.

In the 4 free minutes or Freestyle, spectacularity, difficulty, position, and innovation of the figures are scored along with precision.
